Victoria’s climate • Victoria’s climate has changed in recent decades, becoming warmer and drier. • These changes are expected to continue in the future. • This presents a significant challenge to Victorian communities, governments, businesses and the environment. • Understanding the drivers and impacts of these changes will help us to plan and adapt. 2

Integrating climate projections into decision-making • Our challenge is to provide adequate guidance and support for users to apply these future climate projections to make meaningful decisions. Victoria's future climate mapping tool • Victoria’s Climate Science Report – is an easy to understand explanation of the observed and future changes – available soon. • Developing a mapping tool to visualise the projections data – mid-2020. • But we need to do more… 5
