Hunger Demons are much more animalistic than most Demons, and they don’t use Weapons

Hunger Demons are much more animalistic than most Demons, and they don’t use Weapons very well. Hunger Demons need lots of Powerups to do anything, but they make good use of them. It’s thanks to Hunger Demons that people know that Demons evolve, just like animals on earth. Hunger Demons were originally much bigger, and used the Rock element instead of the Ice element. Later, they grew tails and traded out the Rock element for the Water element. The Hunger Demon’s tail then forked and became two ice axes, exchanging the Water element for the Ice element that it has now. It isn’t clear what forced the Hunger Demon to change so much, but studies of the Poison Demon and Water Demon make people think that Hunger Demons were chased off by faster, smarter Demons that wanted their living space. Essential and Ancient Hunger Demons Until recently Hunger Demons have never been upgraded, not even once. The upgrades reveal that the Hunger Demon’s previous stages of evolution aren’t completely gone, as the Essential Hunger Demon has the scales from when it contained the Water Element and the Ancient Hunger Demon has the Rock Element. Still, none of the Hunger Demon’s earlier forms had a second mouth inside of the main one, an extra hand on the tail, or stone teeth. The Essential Hunger Demon is about the size of a pickup truck, while the Ancient is about the size of a bus. Upgraded Hunger Demons fight the same way their previous form did: with a whole lot of Powerups. It takes three Powerups to back even the weakest of the Essential Hunger Demon’s attacks. However, those attacks are much stronger, and the Ancient has ways of getting around effects to prevent it from dealing damage. If the Special Attack: Hunger Demon Corruptive Fangs Specials Hunger Demons’ reliance on large numbers of Powerups can cause trouble when you get the wrong kinds of Powerups. Corruptive Fangs helps fix that, letting Hunger Demons deal damage and infect with nothing but Poison Powerups, thanks to Toxic Bite. Shadow Venom is harder to use, since you have to strike fast before the Infection finishes decaying, but Tiring helps even the scales when you are running low on Powerups. Predator Instincts is best when you have more than one Hunger Demon. Howl gets rid of Tiring across the entire field, something that is even more important when your Demons use lots of Powerups, and Crippling Slash turns small amounts of damage into massive destruction.
