Peer support group for gender variant children • There are two rooms available in the meetings. • One room is for the children who play with their peers with a childminder and an employee. • In the other room parents gather with an employee and discuss with their peers. • In this way there is an environment where gender variant children can meet and play with other gender variant children while their parents can meet their own peers → both kids and parents are able to feel safe. © Seta ry | Pasilanraitio 5, 00240 Helsinki | www. seta. fi | www. facebook. com/setary 3. 6. 2021

Peer support group for the elderly lgbti-people • The Equal Aging II –project of Seta has a peer group for lgbti-seniors. The aim among other things is to combat the loneliness of these seniors. • There are no strict age limits, but “elderly” refers to all people more than 50 years old. • The group does not come together at Seta’s office, but in a “day center” for the elderly, so that the access would be as easy as possible, also from the point of view of social accessibility. • The day center also makes lgbti-seniors visible in its community. © Seta ry | Pasilanraitio 5, 00240 Helsinki | www. seta. fi | www. facebook. com/setary 3. 6. 2021
