Goddard Advocacy Partnership (GAP) Charter The Goddard Advocacy Partnership (GAP) are supporters, stakeholders, and business partners of the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center who join together to encourage national, state, and local governments to support the Center. We believe that GSFC is essential to improving life in the United States by enhancing National Defense, developing lifesaving technologies, infusing new technology into our national industries, and inspiring youth to pursue STEM careers. The GAP provides policy makers with a clear and concise understanding of the benefits of GSFC’s mission, how our business community supports that mission, and, through tangible examples, demonstrates GSFC’s positive impacts on your constituents and all Americans. Drivers • Senator Mikulski was a huge advocate of Goddard and in a post-Mikulski world, the Center needs new strong voices to advocate for funding • Maryland Delegation needs help understanding and spreading the message across Federal and State policy makers and appropriators • The GAP needs Your Help during this time of dynamic space priorities!
