Pakruojis Manor is The largest and most famous place of Pakruojis Manor is mentioned for the first time in written sources in 1531. Pakruojis Manor is located in Pakruojis village, occupying 48. 2 hectares with 34 monumental buildings. It is one of the largest and nicest manors in Lithuania, unique in urban planning, a unique style of buildings, and an impressive landscape. The first known owners of the manor were noblemen Zabiela, followed by counts Munsters. Current Manor ensemble was started to create in the last decade of the 18 th century by initiative and funds of baron Vilhelm von Ropp. English-style park, in 1850 -1986 was planted with rare trees: balsamic fir, Schwedleri-shaped silver maples, multi-stem lindens.

• Currently Pakruojis manor homestead is mostly visited as a museum under open sky. Visitors can admire manor interior, examine buildings, and listen to the concerts given there.

• In historical photos it is seen that in front of central chamber there was a big beautiful parterre occupied by an ornamental arrangement of flower beds.

• Pakruojis District Municipality Administration is planning to recover parterre and to construct a flower bed in front of Pakruojis central chamber, thus increasing the attractiveness of the site. • Works planned for the Pakruojis are: setting up flowers garden, install grass, construction of pathways, install an automatic watering system from the river Kruoja. • Install 1 outdoor multifunctional interactive stand (console). The stand will let to follow visitors flow and account them, what is necessary for planning of general work and specific activities.
