Phase I: Transition § February/March 2016: Created and distributed a press release to local media sources. § Articles published in the Daily Democrat on 2/12/16 and 2/16/16. § Article published in the Burlington Hawkeye on 2/14/16. § Press release information/photo was featured on KHQA and WGEM. § Monday, April 4 and Tuesday, April 5, 2016 § Held meetings with the Superintendent, Director of Technology, Director of Student Services, Director of Food Service, Director of Finance, Director of Operations, Director of Maintenance § Toured Richardson, Lincoln, the middle school and the high school. Met with each principal and stopped in each classroom and introduced myself. § Attended the Kiwanis meeting § Attended the board meeting

Phase I: Transition continued… § Monday, April 25 and morning of Tuesday, April 26, 2016 § § Visited classrooms for introductions to any absent staff during April 4 th and 5 th visit. Conducted interviews for Director for Curriculum/Student Services Attended board meeting Attended Rotary lunch § Monday, May 9, 2016 § Met with Dr. Jeff Craig, Superintendent in West Aurora School District 129 in Aurora, IL to discuss the school district’s recent success in passing a bond referendum. § Wednesday, May 11, 2016 § Addressed FMCSD staff via Google hangout during district early out meeting. § Sunday/Monday, June 26 -27, 2016 § Attended Rotary Picnic in the Park § Attended Fort Madison High School home baseball and softball games.
