Enterprise Application and Information The EAI forum’s goal to drive the understanding and implementation of CIM messages to support both intra-company messaging and efficient and effective communication of the interconnected electric power networks in North America and Europe. Establish a professional forum for the exchange of information and best practices on IEC CIM messaging and data sharing. Provide feedback to the IEC Working Groups (13 and 14) on proposals, papers, and business issues related to message exchange of the IEC CIM. Provide real-world experience and business requirements for enterprise application integration for IEC CIM information and exchange. Communicate and raise awareness of EAI issues to vendors and customers using IEC CIM information and messaging. Investigate and disseminate information and best practices in design and message exchange technology relevant to IEC CIM. Submit and review message designs that may be on interest to the wider community Provide help desk expertise on CIM EAI inquiries. 2
