Do I Have Enough Money?
Determining if we have enough • What do you need to find to figure out how much your item costs? • The……. Price! • In order to buy an item, we need to first determine the price of the item.
Determining if we have enough • Once you find the price of the item, you need to find the “next dollar up”. • The next step is to look in your wallet and see if you have enough money!!
Determining if we have enough • If we have the SAME amount that the item costs, we CAN buy it, we have ENOUGH! • If we have MORE money in our wallet than what the item costs, we CAN buy it! We have ENOUGH! • If we have LESS money in our wallet than what the item costs, we CAN NOT buy it. WE DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH!
