Covid-19 Death Cases In United States Vilma Hoxha
COVID-19 has become a pandemic having a devastating effect on the health of global population. It first emerged in Wuhan, China. This outbreak has now spread from China to all over the world and reached the peak of the cases in United States. In this project, I am analyzing coronavirus death cases in United States. It shows the pattern of deaths caused by coronavirus in United States between different age groups and sexes. Also, graphs are used for analysis of death cases in different states.
➢ In first graph, I showed percentages of highest number of deaths in between age groups. We can see from the graph that the ages have the highest cases with 57. 27% and the ages 0 -19 have the lowest number of cases with 0. 02%.
In this graph, I showed the death cases in between gender and age groups. As shown in the graph, females of the age 85 years and older have the highest death cases, while female and male of ages under 1 have the lowest death cases (8 cases total).
In the fifth graph, I made a map in Tableau showing the number of deaths from Covid in different states. We can see from the graph that Texas, California and Florida have the highest cases, while Vermont and Wyoming have the lowest.
In this stacked bar chart, I showed the number of cases in Texas (being the state with the highest number of deaths) in between sexes and age groups.
Daily Cases in Texas
In last graph, I analyzed data of death cases in Texas since february. we can see that daily cases increase and reached the highest in November. According to the graphs given, Coronavirus mortality rate varies when we consider different parameters such as gender and age. Cases have reached the peak in United States out of all the countries in the World and Texas is the state with the highest death cases regarding to the graphs above. .
