Cultural Identity Writing • Your assignment is to write reflectively about your cultural identity using THREE WORD PHOTOS. • What is a WORD PHOTO? • Describe carefully a small moment or scene from your life that reflects some aspect of your cultural identity. • You must write in THIRD PERSON. (NO I – write about yourself using “he” or “she” or call yourself by your name. ) • Each WORD PHOTO must be from 75 -100 words. • Focus on SHOWING not telling. • All three should be on one page.
