641 主耶穌，我曾應許 O JESUS, I HAVE PROMISED 主耶穌，我曾應許，永遠事奉我主； O Jesus, I have promised, to serve Thee to the end; 我主，我親愛朋友，懇求與我同住-Be Thou forever near me, my Master and my Friend; 若主時常在我旁，我必不怕戰場， I shall not fear the battle, If Thou art by my side, 若主時常引我路，我必不致迷茫。 Nor wander from the pathway, If Thou wilt be my Guide.

（二）世界四面包圍我，求主與我相近； O let me feel Thee near me, the world is ever near; 我見蓬亂的景物，聽見誘惑聲音； I see the sights that dazzle, the tempting sounds I hear; 在我身外或心內，常有仇敵相侵； My foes are ever near me, around me and within ; 懇求耶穌來親近，保守我的心靈。 But Jesus, draw Thou nearer, And shield my soul from sin.

（三）主耶穌，祢曾應許，凡跟隨祢的人， O Jesus. Thou hast promised to all who follow Thee; 在祢榮耀的居所，主僕亦必有分； That where Thou art in glory There shall Thy servant be; 主耶穌，我曾應許，永永遠遠事奉， And, Jesus, I have promised to serve Thee to the end; 求主，我親愛朋友，施恩使我跟從。 O give me grace to follow, my Master and my Friend.

（四）讓我得見祢腳跡，將我安置其中； Oh, let me see Thy footmarks And in them plant mine own; 我惟依賴祢大力，纔能步步相從。 My hope to follow duly is in Thy strength alone, 一路呼喚、牽引我，扶持、照應到底； Oh, guide me, call me, draw me, uphold me to the end; 救主，我友，接納我，那日享祢安息。 And then to rest receive me, my Savior and my Friend.
