1. HAJJ & UMRAH IHRAM Make ghusl, wear your Ihram-cloths and make the intention for ’Umrah (Labbayk Umrah). Recite the talbiyah and avoid the actions that are forbidden while in the state of Ihram. ﻟﺒﻴﻚ ﺍﻟﻠﻬﻢ ﻟﺒﻴﻚ ﻻ ﺷﺮﻳﻚ ﻟﻚ ﻟﺒﻴﻚ ﺇﻥ ﺍﻟﺤﻤﺪ ﻭﺍﻟﻨﻌﻤﺔ ﻟﻚ ﻭﺍﻟﻤﻠﻚ ﻻ ﺷﺮﻳﻚ ﻟﻚ Läbbeikällaahummä läbbeik Läbbeikä lää shäriikä läbbeik Innäl hämdä wan niʽimätä läkä wäl mulk Lää shäriikä läk ”Here I am, O Allaah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Verily all praise and blessings are Yours, and all sovereignty, You have no partner. ”

2. UMRAH Make tawaaf (circumambulation) around Ka’aba 7 times. Start from The Black stone by saying ”Allaahu Akbar”. Repeat the words in each round. Touch the stone if possible or at least point towards it. Pray two rak’aa behind the Station of Ibrahim. Drink Zamzam water after you finished with Tawaaf. Head towards Safa and Marwa-mountains, starting from Mount Safaa. Walk between the mountains 7 times, ending at Mount Marwa. Cut or trim your hair and remove the Ihram clothing.

3. What to say between Yemeni corner and Black Stone: ﺭ ـﺍ آﺍ ﻱ ﺍﻟ ﺍ ﻱ ﺍﻵ ﺍ ﺍ ﺍﻟ ﺍ ”Rabbänää äätinää fid-dunjää häsänätän wa fil ääkhirati häsänätän wa qinää ädhääbän naar. ” » O our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the hell fire »

4. PRAY TWO RAK’AAT BEHIND THE STATION OF IBRAHIIM Pray two rak’aat behind the Station of Ibrahim or anywhere else in the Masjid Al-Haram. According the Sunnah you should recite the following suurah’s : First rak’aat: Suurah Al Fatihah (1. suurah) Suurah Al Kaafiruun (109. suurah) Second rak’aat: Suurah Fatihah Suurah Al Ikhlaas (112. suurah)

5. WHEN YOU DRINK THE WATER OF ZAMZAM ﺍﻟ ﻱ ﺍ ﺍ “Allaahummä innii äs-älukä ‘ilmän nääfi’än wa rizqan wääsi’än wa shifää-än min kulli dää-in. ” "O Allah, I seek beneficial knowledge, wide sustenance and cure from all ailments from You"

6. SA’YI - WHEN YOU APPROACH THE MOUNTAINS OF SAFAA AND MARWAA- ﺍﻟ ﺍ ﺍ ﻥ ﺍ ﺍﻟﻩ ﺍ ﺍﺍﺍ ﻥ ﺍ ﺍﻟ ﺍ ﻳ Innässafää wäl-marwätä min shäʽää’irilläähi fämän häddzäl-bäitä äwiʽtämära fälää dzunäähä ʽaleihi aj-jättawwäfä bihimää wä män tätawwäʽä khairan fä innä Allaahä shääkirun ʽäliim. ”Indeed, ˹the hills of˺ Ṣafa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. So whoever performs the pilgrimage or minor pilgrimage, let them walk between ˹the two hills˺. And whoever does good willingly, Allah is truly Appreciative, All. Knowing. “ [2: 158]

6. ﺍ ﺍﻟﻠ Äbdä’u bimää bädä’ällaahu bihi. ” I begin by that which Allaah began. ” Turn towards Ka’aba and say: ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﺃﻜﺒﺮ x 3 Allaahu akbar, Allaahu akbar ، ﺍ ﺍ ﻯ ﻳ ، ﺍ ﺍ ﺍﻟﻠ ﺍ ﻳ ﺍﻷﺍ ، ، ، ﺍ ﺍ ﺍﻟﻠ Lää iläähä illällaahu wähdädu lää shäriikä läh. Lähul mulku wa lähul hämdu wa huwa ʽälää kulli shäi’in qadiir. Lää iläähä illallaahu wähdäh, ändzäzä wäʽdäh wa nasara ʽäbdäh wa häzämäl ähzääbä wähdäh. ”None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, Who has no partner, His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is Able to do all things. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, He fulfilled His Promise, He aided His slave, and He alone defeated Confederates. ”

7. GOING TO MINA -8 th day of Dhul Hijjah Wear your Ihram-clothes again and make the intention for Hajj. (Labbayk Hajj) Stay in Mina for the day of Tarwia (8 th of Dhul Hijjah) and pray 5 prayers, starting from Dhur until next Fajr-prayer which is on the Day of Arafah. Shorten Dhur, Asr and Isha for 2 rak’aat and Maghrib as normal 3 rak’aat. Pray them at their prescribed times. Start heading towards Arafah after the Fajr prayer.

8. GOING TO THE ARAFAH - 9 th of Dhul Hijjah Go the Mount of Arafah on the morning 9 th of Dhul Hijjah and remain there until sunset. You can stay anywhere within the area of Mount of Arafah, not only on the mountain itself. Glorify Allaah, repeat your du’aa’s, repent from sins and seek for His forgiveness. Hisnul Muslim has plenty beneficial du’aa’s so it is advicable to carry one with you. Pray Dhur and ’Asr by shortening them and join them at the time of Dhur.

9. GOING TO MUZDALIFA Leave to Muzdalifa right after sunset on the 9 th of Dhul Hijjah. Recite the talbiyah, ﻟﺒﻴﻚ ﺍﻟﻠﻬﻢ ﻟﺒﻴﻚ ﻻ ﺷﺮﻳﻚ ﻟﻚ ﻟﺒﻴﻚ ﺇﻥ ﺍﻟﺤﻤﺪ ﻭﺍﻟﻨﻌﻤﺔ ﻟﻚ ﻭﺍﻟﻤﻠﻚ ﻻ ﺷﺮﻳﻚ ﻟﻚ Läbbeikällaahummä läbbeik, Läbbeikä lää shäriikä läbbeik, Innäl hämdä wan niʽimätä läkä wäl mulk, Lää shäriikä läk. Join the Maghrib and ’Isha prayers, shortening ’Isha prayer to 2 rak’aat. They will prayed at Muzdalifah. Stay the night in Muzdalifa and pray the Fajr prayer there as well. You may collect stones for stoning the Jamaraat from Muzdalifa or Mina or anywhere else. You will need 70 stones in total for all the days of stonings. According to the Sunnah, the stone itself should not be bigger than a chickpea.

10. CONTINUE TO MINA -10 th Dhul-Hijjah AFTER FAJR A while before sunrise head towards Mina. Recite the Talbiyah , ﻟﺒﻴﻚ ﺍﻟﻠﻬﻢ ﻟﺒﻴﻚ ﻻ ﺷﺮﻳﻚ ﻟﻚ ﻟﺒﻴﻚ ﺇﻥ ﺍﻟﺤﻤﺪ ﻭﺍﻟﻨﻌﻤﺔ ﻟﻚ ﻭﺍﻟﻤﻠﻚ ﻻ ﺷﺮﻳﻚ ﻟﻚ Läbbeikällaahummä läbbeik, Läbbeikä lää shäriikä läbbeik, Innäl hämdä wan niʽimätä läkä wäl mulk, Lää shäriikä läk. Go to the Jamrat al-Aqaba (biggest stone) and stone it with 7 stones. By each throw say Allaahu akbar. Slaughter your sacrificial animal (or have it done by agent) and shave/trim your hair. Take off your Ihram clothes and all the restrictions from state of Ihram are lifted from you except sexual intercourse.

11. TAWAF AL-IFADHA -10 th of Dhul-Hijjah or after it Preform Tawaaf Al-Ifadha. As before… 7 rounds around Ka’aba, starting from the Black Stone, saying Allaahu akbar at the begining of each round, by touching or atleast pointing towards the Black Stone. Make Sa’yi between Safa and Marwa As before, start the Sa’yi from Safa and finishing at Marwa. Repeat the same rituals as before. After Tawaaf Al-Ifadha all the restrictions of Ihram are lifted from you.

12. RETURN TO MINA -10. -13 th of Dhul-Hijjah -Ayyaamut Tashriiq Spend the days of Tashriiq in Mina. Stone the Jamaraat on each day after Dhur prayer, starting from the smallest of them and finishing to the largest – Al Aqaba. Say at each throw, ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﺃﻜﺒﺮ - Allaahu Akbar. Before the last Jamaraat, Al Aqaba, turn towards Ka’aba and make du’aa. You may leave from Mina after stoning the Jamaraat on the 12 th day of Dhul Hijjah but it is recommened to stay. If you deside to leave, you must leave before Maghrib.

13. FAREWELL TAWAAF -After 12 th Dhul Hijjah -> Go to Mekkah and preform Farewell Tawaaf (Tawaaf Al-Wadaa’). Pray two rak’aat. As before… 7 rounds around Ka’aba, starting from the Black Stone, saying Allaahu Akbar at the begining of each round, by touching or atleast pointing towards the Black Stone. Let the Tawaaf be the last action that you do in Mekkah.

DU’AA WHEN YOU STEP INSIDE A MASJID ﺍﻟ ﺍ ﻱ ﺍ Allaahummaftäh lii äbwääbä rahmätuk. Aamiin. O Allah, open the gates of Your mercy for me. OR . ﻟـ ﺍـ ﻱ ﺍ ﺗ ، ، ﺍﻟ ـﺍ ﺍﻟ ـﻴ ، ـ ﺍﻟﻳـ ﻃﺍﻩ ﺍﻟﻳـ ، ﻋﻮ ﺍﻟ ﺍﻟﻳـ Äʽuudhu billäähil ʽädhiimi wä wädzhihil käriimi wä sultaanihil qadiim minäshshäitaanir-radziim. Allaahummäf täh lii äbwääbä rahmätik. ” I take refuge with Allah, The Supreme and with His Noble Face, and His eternal authority from the accursed devil. O Allah, open the gates of Your mercy for me. ”

DU’AA WHEN LEAVING THE MASJID ﺍﻟ ﻱ ، ﺍﻟ ﻻ ﻯ ﻭ ﺍﻟﻠ Äs-säläämu ‘älää rasuuli. Llääh, Allaahumma innii äs-äluka min fadhlik “Peace be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, I ask You from Your favour. ”

DU’AA WHAT YOU MAY SAY IN FUNERAL PRAYER ﻻ ، ﺍﻟﻫ ﻻ ﺍ ، ﻯ ﺍﻹﺍ ﺍ ، ﺍ ﻯ ﺍﻹﻻ ﺍ ﺍﻟﻫ. ﺍ ﺍﺍ ، ﺍﻟﻫ ﺍ ﺍﺍ Allaahummä-ghfir lihäjjinää wa mäjjitinää, wa shähiidinää wa gha’ibinää wa saghiirinää wa käbiirinää, wa dhäkarinä wa unthänä. Allaahummä män ähjäjtähu minnää fä ähjihi ’äläl-Islääm, wa män täwäffäjtähu minnää fä täwäffähu ’äläl-’iimään. Allaahummä lää tährimnä äzrahu wa lää täftinnä bä’dähu. ”O Allah forgive our living and our dead, those who are with us and those who are absent, our young and our old, our menfolk and our womenfolk. O Allah, whomever you give life from among us give him life in Islam, and whomever you take way from us take him away in Faith. O Allah, do not forbid us their reward and do not send us astray after them. ”

DU’AA THAT YOU MAY SAY AT GRAVEYARDS ﺍﻟﻠ ﺍ ﺍﺍ ، ﺍ ﺍ ﺍﻟﻠ ﺍﻭ ، ﺍﻟ ﻻ ﺍﻟ ﺍ ﺍﻳ ﺍﻳ Äs-säläämu 'äleikum ähläd-dijääri minäl mu'miniinä wäl muslimiinä wä innää in shää Allaahu bikum läähiquun. Näs'älu Allaaha länää wä läkumul 'ääfijäh. Äämiin. “Peace be upon you, people of this abode, from among the believers and those who are Muslims, and we, by the Will of Allah, shall be joining you. We ask Allah to grant us and you strength. ”
