Greeting on the day of `Áshúra Ashura day is an extremely sorrowful day due to the atrocities that were done on the Prophet’s household. As part of commemoration, we should refrain from ALL enjoyment (TV, Sports, vain talk, etc. ) and spend the whole day in remembering each and every incident of that day and doing the recommended A’amaal.

Greeting on the day of `Áshúra The events that took place on Ashura was the fight between RIGHT (HAQ) and FALSEHOOD (BATIL). This is an ongoing struggle in the life of any human being. As proof of our solidarity with Imam we should do a self analysis of our daily lives and actions and ensure that we are with HAQ and that we develop strong willpower to oppose temptations (both internal and external) to FALSEHOOD.
