z Adduction § Adduction is the movement of a body part toward the body's

z Adduction § Adduction is the movement of a body part toward the body's midline. § If a person has their arms straight out at the shoulders and brings them down to their sides, it is adduction. § If it is a person’s fingers, movement towards the middle of the center of the hands. § Example: Lat Adduction Exercises.

z Abduction § Abduction is the movement AWAY from the body’s midline. § Example:

z Flexion § Flexion is a joint movement that DECREASES the angle between the

z Dorsiflextion § Dorsiflexion is the movement of the foot upwards, so that the
