S. A. I. D. during the Vietnam War • Worked sixteen years in the emergency room at Gorgas Hospital in Panama • Volunteered extensively in the U. S. and abroad • This year the ENA Foundation received its largest single external gift to date: a $100, 000 endowment from Betty’s niece Linda. The endowment will support undergraduate nursing education.
