Understanding the Academic Program Guide The Academic Program Guide gives information on the following: ● ● ● our academic programs courses and pathways graduation requirements Service Learning Southridge Scholar All things Southridge!

The Academic Program Guide is your tool for choosing all your classes and learning about SRHS! Navigate : 1) Using your Chromebook go to the Southridge High School Homepage 2) Go to the Academics Tab 3) Click on Academic Program Guide

Take about twenty minutes to familiarize yourself with the tabs listed on the right hand side of the page. ● Graduation Requirements ● Course Descriptions ● IB-International Baccalaureate ● Service Learning ● Southridge Scholar

Junior Planning for Senior Year Personal Inventory Questions: 1) Are you currently taking classes that are in-line with a Southridge Career Pathway? 2) Are you in a CTE Career Pathway? 3) Are you currently an IBDP or IBCP Candidate? 4) What other classes do you need to take in order to graduate? 5) Are you planning on attending college?

Are you able to complete a CTE or SRHS Pathway? Earn your Pathway Cord! Work with a counselor to ensure the correct classes are forecasted. You Need: • • To complete the correct courses in one of the following pathways to earn a cord: Auto-Tech Business/Marketing Computer Information Systems Engineering Health Careers Journalism Sports Med

Are you an IB Career Related Program Candidate? Earn your IBCP Certificate! Get an IB CP Packet from your advisor if you are interested. You Need: • • • Career Related Studies in a CTE Pathway Minimum of two IB Courses that will be tested Signed up for Personal and Professional Skills class 2 nd semester of this year and 1 st semester of next year.

Are you an IB Diploma Program Candidate? Earn your IBDP Diploma! Make sure your classes align with what is needed to graduate with the IB Diploma. You Need: • • To ensure the correct courses are taken. To have the second half of To. K in your schedule.

Southridge Pathway & Program Identification (All students need to complete this task, even if not sure of interests, or in a pathway!) Use this link to indicate the program or pathway that you would either like to be a part of or are already involved with. Options For Study

Fill out the Junior Audit Sheet Complete the Junior Audit Sheet as you prepare forecasting. The prompts will help students: ● Define what credits are needed for graduation ● What requirements are necessary for entrance to a four year college ● Put in place a credit recovery plan if necessary ● Define if they qualify for Southridge Scholar, and put a plan in place if applicable. ● List classes necessary to complete the IBDP, IBCP or a CTE/SRHS Career Pathway ● List was is needed to complete the Service Learning requirement.
