Scenario 2 A 19 year old Bangladeshi woman attends your surgery. She tells the receptionist that she wants to talk to someone as she wants to register for condoms. She would also like a pregnancy test and wants to know where to get one. How do you think you will respond?

Scenario 3 A 16 year old girl comes to the surgery with her mother to discuss travel vaccinations. You know she is sexually active from a previous visit and is not using contraception or had STI screening. What would you do?

Remembering……. • That the age group goes up to 25 – so covers the ages where STIs and unplanned pregnancy is most prevalent • That sexual health, mental health and lifestyle choices are inextricably linked.
