Isaiah 55: 8 -9 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways, ” says the LORD. 9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. ” We are not the standard for right and wrong, and can’t rely on our own feelings to determine the matter.

Job 37: 23 Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict. We can not even comprehend God’s ways. Who are we to question His motives. Job understood the excellency of God and all of His ways.

1 Samuel 16: 7 But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart. Lord does not see like we see!

Today • We have even decided that He doesn’t even know who He is. We have created Him in a manner that is acceptable to us. • God of love only • Different God in the New Testament • Old Testament God was a God of wrath • A God who only accepts faith • A God of our own creation
