Weekly Update on SMP M 20 Programmed Works Information Monday 08 July to 14 July 2019 Work to reduce congestion and improve journey times continues this week with narrow lanes and a reduced speed limit of 50 mph both coast and London bound 24/7. Free recovery service and speed enforcement are in place to ensure drivers and road workers safety. Monday 15 to 21 July (inclusive) 16, 17 July - there will be a full overnight closure of the M 20 coastbound between junctions 2 and 4, and the M 26 junction 2 a to the M 20. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A 20. There will also be a full overnight closure of the M 20 coastbound exit slip at junction 4. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the next available junction. 18 July - there will be a full overnight closure of the M 20 coastbound exit slip at junction 4. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the next available junction. These closures are overnight only between 8 pm and 6 am. On Friday 19 July there will be a full weekend closure of the M 20 coastbound exit slip at junction 4, from 8 pm through till 6 am on Monday 22 July. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the next available junction. 21 July – there will be a full overnight closure of the M 20 coastbound between junctions 2 and 4. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A 20. These closures are overnight only between 8 pm and 6 am.
