Project Goals ➢ Create five, thirty-second video advertisements to be aired at the Regal

Project Goals ➢ Create five, thirty-second video advertisements to be aired at the Regal Cinema complex in Christiansburg, VA. ➢ Develop cross-functional multimedia to be strategically used online (social media, You. Tube, website) and in person (group presentations and one-on-one meetings). ➢ Shift the community perception of the Y from a place for exercise towards volunteerism and community service. ➢ Strengthen the YMCA at Virginia Tech’s community outreach programs while enhancing the YMCA’s presence in the community.

Lessons Learned ➢ Have a clear idea of footage to be used. ➢ Shoot footage that conveys the appropriate message without audio. ➢ When working with a tight schedule, read scripts instead of relying on natural responses. ➢ Get feedback as early as possible.
