Year 7 Design & Technology “Design is intelligence made visible” Here at Wrotham school the students in Year 7 will get the opportunity to study Design & Technology for three full terms. They will experience working in a very creative, dynamic and innovative department with highly skilled teachers who all have a great deal of passion for the subject. The projects the students will complete during their three terms will always be a fun, exciting and practical project they can take home with them. In the past this has included the Wooden Puppet and the CAD/CAM Light Box project. All of our projects allow the students to build and develop a number of creative and practical skills using conventional workshop techniques as well as the more industrial techniques such as CAD/CAM. The Design & Technology department is a rapidly growing department where we are always searching for new and innovative ways to give all of our students a fun and exciting learning experience.
