Good Standing Students commence the year with GOOD STANDING. This recognises the responsible students who are committed to their learning. Students with Good Standing at the end of each term will be invited to Reward Incursions / Excursion. Student with loss of good standing will not be involved in any school activity other than that of their educational program. Loss of Good Standing A student’s good standing may be lost if they do not demonstrate a commitment to their learning and/or follow the school rules outlined in the Student Diary. The focus of which is the SCHOOL CODE. Behaviour Deans of Student Services identify unproductive or disruptive student behaviour by monitoring incident reports on SIS or referrals from teachers. Students who are suspended will automatically lose their Good Standing. Seek Excellence
Attendance All non-attendance in a class is recorded as an absence. This includes all absence for illness, holidays and sporting trips. Any student whose attendance falls below 90% will lead to a loss of Good Standing. Truancy will lead to an automatic loss of Good Standing. Reinstatement of Good Standing Students will be responsible for negotiating with Mrs Nelson for the return of their Good Standing. Students must have regained and then maintain their Good Standing at least five weeks before the event they would like to participate in. Seek Excellence
Pastoral Care Programs Social & Emotional Learning In 2016 the College is implementing a pastoral care social and emotional learning program. The program aims to help enhance and maintain resilience and wellbeing in students by building their social and emotional skills. Students who possess sound social and emotional skills are generally better able to cope with the stressors of daily life. BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) • Students not permitted to connect to College network unless they and parents have signed the Mobile Technology Device Agreement BYOD. This policy is separate from the Mobile Phone policy. • Students agree to use this device as an educational tool while at the College. • Students are responsible at all times for their device and the content. • Students using the device must ensure that the teacher can open, see, play their task submitted and has access to the software used. This is good to find out before they begin. • The College or Do. E do not provide any form of insurance or cover for the device – it is highly recommended that the device is covered under Homes Owner’s insurance. Seek Excellence

Student Support The College has a strong pastoral care focus and zero tolerance to harassment and bullying. The Student Support Team provides students, staff and parents with ongoing support to ensure all students’ needs are met. Enrolment Process GATE Enrolment process Regular enrolment process • Enrolment packs to Primary Schools by Week 8 Term 2 • Enrolment returns by end of Week 2 Term 3 • Week 5 to 8 Term 3 – confirmation of enrolments • Only enrolled Year 6 students get invited to the end of year orientation activities. • All Out of local area receive a letter advising that we will review numbers in late November / early December Seek Excellence
