Year 4 Science learning task: 18. 5. 20. Today we are going to look at how we can use art to have a better understanding of living things.

Let’s start with a guessing game. Choose your favourite of these fruits, but don’t tell your adult which one it is. Give them as many clues as they can to guess which fruit you have chosen!

Although sketches and notes are still made by scientists, the artist, Levon Biss, is using a more modern approach to capturing the detail of some beautiful invertebrates. Click here to find out more.
