PULSE/BEAT Every piece of music has a pulse and/or beat. When you listen to

PULSE/BEAT Every piece of music has a pulse and/or beat. When you listen to music we usually feel the pulse. We often call this the beat. Without having a good sense of rhythm and being able to keep a steady pulse, things can get out of time. Keeping a steady pulse is what holds music together. Try and tap along to music you hear in the car or on the radio.

Try and be creative with the shapes and sounds you use. Try and perform it and write a little evaluation of how successful you were.
