Traveling to the Seaside In the past the poor people would go to the seaside just for one day and the rich people would stay for about 3 weeks. How do you get to the seaside? In the 1900 s they would travel there by train. In the 1920 s they could also travel by charabanc which was an open topped bus.

Staying at the Seaside Large hotels with sea views were built in the past because seaside holidays were so popular. Smaller guest houses were also built. Nowadays you can also bring your own place to stay at the seaside which is much less expensive. .
