Year 11 GCSE Exams Information and Expectations Start: Mon 13 th May Finish: Fri 14 th June (Mon 17 th June for Further Maths) AM Exams 0820 -0900: Warm up sessions 0915: Exam starts PM Exams 1230 -1300: Lunch 1300 -1330: Warm up sessions 1345: Exam starts Due to the length of some PM exams you may finish after the school day has ended What will my school days be like during the exams? • No exam leave as there are exams every day • All students in all lessons until June 14 th • Lessons will focus on revision until your final exam in that subject • If you have completed all exams in a subject, remaining lessons will be silent revision sessions (non-cooperation will see students removed from the room) • Your timetable will be slightly altered in the final week with extra revision sessions for the remaining exams What exams are happening before the 13 th May? 1. Food Practical exam – Thu 28 th Feb 2. Drama Performances – Wed 3 rd April 3. Spanish Speaking Assessments – Week commencing 1 st April 4. Art Exam – Tue 30 th April and Thu 2 nd May Booster sessions will be running over Easter and May half term breaks.
