Year 10 – online learning Week beginning – 20/07/20 We are sorry we can’t be with you right now, but want to support your learning whilst you are in hospital. We have been uploading resources each week since we had to close, which you can look back at. In this Power. Point you will find a selection of tasks for English, maths, science and, if you still study one, languages; this week’s focus is German. If you do French or Spanish, look back at previous weeks. These lessons follow on from last week, except German where you will need to look back to 29. 06. 20. We have also added some weblinks for you to explore, where you will find other subjects and suggestions of activities to try. We hope you enjoy the tasks. Y 10 Unseen Poetry. Lesson 8 Poetry quiz

Pick 10 pairs of words and write sentences including each pair. Eg ‘primary consumers’ and ‘producers’: The primary consumers eat producers, they are the herbivores. (That is my sentence, although you are welcome to record it you can’t use it as one of yours )

If you take separate (triple) science, pick one of the previous three tasks to complete with the above words Or Use all the words to create your own concept map for the ecology topic, making as many links between the words as possible.
