AUSTRALIAN TERTIARY ADMISSIONS RANK (ATAR) • An ATAR of 75. 00 means that students

AUSTRALIAN TERTIARY ADMISSIONS RANK (ATAR) • An ATAR of 75. 00 means that students with that ATAR have achieved VCE results that place them in the top 25% of the Year 12 age group in that given year. • VTAC calculates an ATAR for all students who satisfactorily completed their VCE, completed all outcomes & exams. However only those who apply through VTAC for tertiary courses will receive an ATAR statement. • To qualify for the ATAR a student must qualify for the VCE and achieve study scores in four permissible Unit 3 & 4 VCE studies, including one from the English group.
