Next, we need to re-read our work to make sure that it makes sense. Did we write all of the sounds that we could hear in our writing? Try reading it out loud to someone in your house – even to your pets! Do you need to add in any extra letters or words? Sometimes when we are working hard on our writing and concentrating, we forget to write down all of the letters in our words. All authors do this but use their purple thinking hats to make their work even more amazing! Use this time to check your work today. Maybe you would like to change some of your words – you might have written the word sad but could have used upset, annoyed or even angry instead. We will be publishing our work tomorrow, so please use today to check over your work.
