Suspicious Items General Objective To practice port security staff in the screening of items being brought into the Port Facility
Suspicious Items Specific Objectives • To test the vigilance of security staff in detecting suspicious items • To practice security staff in the conduct of checks on bags and other personal belongings of personnel entering the Port Facility • To enhance the security awareness of threats o the Port Facility • Meet or better the specified compliance benchmark for this drill
Suspicious Items Required Attainments Security staff will be able to: • Apply the procedures in the Port Facility security instructions for the screening of personal items being brought into the Port Facility • Detect suspicious items in the personal belongings of personnel entering the Port Facility • Take the appropriate action on suspicious items
