DANGLING MODIFIERS OCCUR WHEN… THE MODIFYING WORD PHRASE OR VERB HAS NOTHING TO MODIFY IN THE SENTENCE. IT DOESN'T FIT LOGICALLY IN THE SENTENCE BECAUSE IT LACKS A SUBJECT.
