Needs Description • Provide background information on your social issue • Show your research! • What does the community need? Not what do you think the community needs **Cite resources at the end of proposal**
Work Plan • What is your goal? • Who is your audience (this will be introduced in the need description but elaborated on here) • What are you going to do to address this issue? – In other words, WHAT IS YOUR IDEA? ? – How will you MEASURE output?
Work Plan continued • What project planning has already taken place? – How close are you to being able to implement it? • Who is going to do the work? Will you have help besides those in your group? • WHERE and WHEN will your project take place? • Do you need to get special permission? If so, how?
Measuring Outcomes • How do you plan to measure success? – How will you gather this information? – Before/After Surveys? – Hard vs Soft Data
Budgets and Future Funding • Break down every use of the $10, 000 • Any other sponsors interested or already committed? • If plan is sustainable, what are your plans for continuous staffing/funding?
