She has remained fairly calm in the face of incredibly trying circumstances. After many late nights grading papers, Ms. Bijit retaught concepts she had been going over for several days even after realizing that half of the students in her classes were not listening to instruction or were choosing not to follow directions. She deserves a medal and a substantial raise.
The Closing the first word is capitalized and you put a comma after the last word.
