Facts: Being Writer q Being an author means you need a lot of time alone. You constantly think of ideas and write them down. You read magazines, and make something a “main” this main would be what you go to for ideas, such at taking a walk outside. q You write about anything and everything q You would make approx. $59, 000 a year. q You are a type of artist in a writing form. q Usually you will be thinking of ideas for work even when your not there, feels like a 24/7 job. q Working conditions could be stressful working inside all day. q Further education isn’t required. q Colleges that you can attend though if you want a further education to advance your writing skills are Michigan State University, and Michigan University.

The Pros and Cons: Writer v Cons: q Being a writer means you involve your daily life and time about 99. 9% of the time in your job. q You can be put in the middle of a mess if you write about something that someone could take the wrong way. q If you work for someone else you are pressured to have your ideas on paper by a certain date. q Sitting inside all day could be your working condition v Pros: q Being a writer can either make or break you. The Pros and Cons: Animal Rescuer v Cons: q Being an animal rescuer means that you may lose animals trying to help them. q Being put in situations that may involve violence whether an animal is violent or a person, including injury, and possibly death. q Your working condition could be anywhere from peoples backyards to animal hoarder’s homes v q q Pros: You help protect animals from deadly people and help protect people against deadly animals. You can go home feeling good about saving someone’s life. Your average salary is $58, 000 a year You get to play with animals and be around them all the time.
Making a choice … • • • If I had to choose then at this point in my life I would prefer to be an animal rescuer. For the reason that I feel that I belong there more then I would being a writer and away from others. Also what says that I can’t do both? A book writer usually writes books as a side job starting off. I could be an animal rescuer for a job and on the side write books. “You will never know where life may take you so take different paths until you find just your fit”
