Typical week in NJROTC • Monday and Thursday, Academic day • Tuesday, Military/team building, leadership development day. (outside) • Wednesday, Uniform day • Friday, Physical Training (PT) day
Extracurriculars and Teams of NJROTC
Drill Team • Heart of the unit • Travel around SC, NC, and Ga • Exhibition: expands upon drill. Involves cadets spinning and tossing rifles • Color Guard: football games, basketball games, special events, and parades
Numerous Drill Championships
Orienteering • Cross country race over unfamiliar territory with a Map and Compass • Scavenger hunt in the woods • Travel across the state or country to participate in competitions
Area Six Freshmen Orienteering Champions.
Rifle Team • Shoot Olympic Rules Rifle Competition • Cadets shoot. 177 pellet rifles • Cadets shoot in various competitions throughout the year

Excelling in NJROTC
Ribbons and Rank • The more you do in NJROTC, the more decorated your uniform becomes • Taking advancement tests allows cadets to gain more rank and therefore leadership
