WHEN DID WORLD WAR TWO BEGIN AND END WW 2 began on 1 September 1939 And it ended on 2 September 1945
WHY DID WW 2 OCCUR World War II began in Europe on September 1, 1939, when Germany invaded Poland. Great Britain and France responded by declaring war on Germany on September 3. The war between the The Soviet Union, and Germany began on June 22, 1941, with the German invasion of the Soviet Union.
THE DIFFERENT SIDES IN WW 2 There were the Allies which consisted of: Australia, Belgium , Brazil , Canada, China, France, Greece , India, Latvia , Lithuania , Malta , The Netherlands, New Zealand , Norway, Poland, South Africa, United Kingdom, The Soviet Union Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, Denmark and Estonia. Then the Axis which were : Germany, Italy, and Japan
WHAT WAS BRITAIN LIKE IN WW 2 During World War II, Britain was called ‘the Home Front’ – the war affected people not just fighting in armies on the front lines, but back in their own towns and neighbourhoods. All the different plans and ways to help get Britain through World War II was called ‘the war effort’. Many people – especially children – who lived in cities were evacuated to the country to keep safe from air attacks such as the blitz. Farms in the country became busy communities of people who moved in to help use
HOW DID THE WAR END World War 2 ended with the unconditional surrender of the Axis powers. On 8 May 1945, the Allies accepted Germany's surrender, about a week after Adolf Hitler had committed suicide. VE Day – Victory in Europe celebrates the end of the Second World War on 8 May 1945.

WHAT HAPPENED AFTER THE WW 2 At the end of the war, millions of people were dead and millions more homeless, the European economy had collapsed, and much of the European industrial infrastructure had been destroyed. The Soviet Union, too, had been heavily affected.
