Summary of balloon story In the balloon story the balloonist is lost so he reduces height to speak to a man to find out where he is and gives him correct information but doesn’t give the balloonist the information he wanted, so they insult each other by the balloonist saying to the man on the ground his information is useless and the man on the ground points out he doesn’t know what he is doing or going but he expects him to help him
JUSTIN ; ) Always thinking outside the box Never off task Always serious when it comes to work Looking into things more than I should to get the right answer You never see me unpersistent Trust worthy because I am dependable Industrious because I use my time well with out being distracted Cautious of my surroundings so I can see what is going on A bit stubborn at times Likes to be organized
What I learned through out this whole process is that everybody is different. You can either be amiable, driver, analytical, and expressive. Each of those work-style behavior traits are different they all have their own specific traits. Depending on what work-style you have can mean a lot of things whether its good or bad. When talking business with some one that’s a different work-style can be very critical because you are two different people with different characteristics. In order to have a successful and healthy business relationship you must know the person and know what to say and how to react because many things can go wrong
Jacob Payton Demanding others on the Right path Into success by being Verbal everywhere I go. Efficient with time an never Relying on others for help.
I learned many things while working on this project, but the most important is that now I know that everyone is not the same as I am. Some work-style behaviors are very different from mine, so it is important that I can act appropriately when I encounter another work -style. Communication is the key with workstyles because you must know what to say and act due to their different characteristics and traits.
Lizzette Lopez. Agreeable. I don’t mind what decision is decided. Misunderstanding. Sometimes I don’t understand what I am told. Brave. I could take criticism for my work. I am Intelligent. Bashful. I am afraid of confrontation and embarrassment. Lively. I like to keep things fast paste. Easy-going. I don’t like to make things complicated.
Some people are very hard to get along with, but some are very outgoing. This work-style behavior project has taught me how to communicate with others who have different work-style traits than me. I learned how so many people can be so different and how two negatives don’t make a positive and two positives don’t make a negative. All of the things I learned during this project has made me realize how people communicate because of the person they are. In the future I am sure this project will help me succeed.
Ramon Martinez (chato) Determined & Demanding is my addiction. Respectful to who earns my respect. Independent and tough throughout. Verbally influential. Extremely explosive once I’m angry. Rarely incorrect, hard headed.
Reflection I’ve learned that working in a team full of people with different work skill behaviors can be confusing at times, and even frustrating. But one most learn that life isn’t always easy. One can’t always have everything at their reach. I learned how to work with other drivers like myself, We argued and disagreed here and their, But even the expressives and analyticals learned how to work together with the drivers to function in a properly way.
Nayely Arcos Expressive is what I am X-treamly Friendly Patience is not in me Respectful to people who deserve it Energetic in sports Successful in workplace Sensitive In many ways Variety of Enthusiastic ideas !
Reflection I learned that expressive people tend to talk a lot which was a good thing when working in a team full of different work-style behaviors. There are negatives and positive sides to being an expressive, but I try to focus more on the positives so that my team functions properly, and fluently. Everybody in the team got along. One thing I learned is that I can get distracted very fast which was a bad thing. I’d like to work in a team once again.
Laura Hernandez <33 Always willing to be respectful Maybe sometimes dependent In some situation wishy washy Agreeable with the people I love But I can also be patient to those who I don’t Love to be dependable sometime Even unsure.
Reflection I’ve learned that driver people can be really pushy. sometimes is difficult to work with them but you learn how to communicate. I learned that I get more along with people who are expressive or analytical. I learned that when talking to analytical people , you have to give them time because they get distracted fast. We all can get along if we know how to communicate.
