My favorite “To keep in mind when working together” • Most people want to help out, if it is a problem it is most probably due to a misunderstanding not that they try to be mean. • Information/Exformation, what is needed what is not. • Bring it forward! Q: What do you try to keep in mind when working together? 5
Helping Process General positive experiences in getting help Context – explain situations – tailor information to the receiver Being able to speak out if you don’t understand – helps both parties Getting people to meet – human side. Face to face meeting – IKON and retreats • Matrix organization – pooling of resources – hierarchies create borders • Prioritisation of resources – will get harder as everyone reaches critical points • • • Weekly meetings – updates enable people to see bigger picture – encourage synergy and sympathy 6
Processes • • Lack of processes and awareness of these CHESS Update of induction for new processes Mentoring Knowing who to ask for newcomers 7
Knowing who to ask • Engineers together regular meetings – Discuss projects and learn capabilities • Other sites – knowledge of who can help – communication • Designated contact and who is responsible in admin (procurement, IT, legal) • Workshops and labs – Knowledge and resource awareness 8
Helping In kind partners/Suppliers • • • Getting better Human contact – getting to know individuals. Closed off from partners due to pressures Encourage to visit sites Repetition of information - Confluence In some cases, too many documents. Not updated 9
Miscellaneous • Feedback and outcomes from last year. • Meetings – agenda, actions, decisions to be taken. 10
