Two main roles of Congress are to make the nation’s laws and control the government’s spending. They would have a joint committee meeting and compromise to come up with one bill. Congress has the power to declare war; the president has control over the troops.

Judicial Review is the power of the Supreme Court to review laws passes by Congress or acts of the president and declare them unconstitutional. The Supreme Court can declare any state law or action unconstitutional.
