Work Out Your Salvation 作成你們得救的 夫 Phil 2: 12 -13 腓立比 2: 12 -13

腓立比 Phil 2: 12 -13 12 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. (NIV) 12這樣看來，我親愛的弟兄你們既是常順服的， 不但我在你們那裡，就是我如今不在你們那裡， 更是順服的，就當恐懼戰兢，作成你們得救的 夫‧ 13因為你們立志行事，都是神在你們心裡運行， 為要成就他的美意‧

I. Three Stages of salvation 救恩三階段 Justification (称義) Sanctification (成聖) Glorification (得荣耀)

II. Meaning: “work out your salvation” 作成你們得救的 夫: 意義 “salvation” (得救的 夫) “work out” (作成) “your salvation” (你的救恩) “God works in you” (神在你們心裡運行) – – – To will (desire) (立志) To act (power) (行事) God is the power & energy (神是背後的能力) “according to His good purpose” (為要成就他的 美意)

III. God’s part in your spiritual growth 神在你灵命成長的角色 Purpose (目的) (1 The 4: 3; Eph 1: 4; 1 Pet 1: 1516; Rom 8: 28 -29; Heb 5: 11 -6: 8) Plan (計劃) Work ( 作, 方法) – Word (神的話) (2 Tim 3: 16 -17) – Spirit (神的灵) (Rom 8: 11; 2 Cor 3: 18) – Circumstances (環境) (James 1: 2 -4; Rom 8: 28 -29; 5: 4 -5; Pro 20: 30)

God’s will and purpose 神对基督徒的旨意 帖前 1 Thess 4: 3 a It is God’s will that you should be sanctified. 神的旨意就是要你們成為聖潔.

Circumstances (環境) 羅 Rom 8: 28 -29 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. IV. Your part in your spiritual growth 你在你的成長所有的責任 Renewal of mind Depend on & obedient to His Spirit Be doer of the word Respond biblically to all circumstances (James 1: 2 -4; Rom 5: 3 -4; Rom 8: 28 -29)

A. Renewal of Mind 心意更新而变化 Be careful how you think. Your life is shaped by your thoughts. (箴 Prov 4: 23, GN) 你要保守你心，勝過保守一切‧因 為一生的果效，是由心發出‧

1. Think of God’s Goodness 思想神的美善 腓 Phil 4: 8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. (NIV) 弟兄們，我還有未盡的話‧凡是真實的，可 敬的，公義的，清潔的，可愛的，有美名 的‧若有什麼德行，若有什麼稱讚，這些事 你們都要思念‧

2. Meditate on God’s Word 晝夜思想神的話 詩 Psalm 1: 2 -3 2 3 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers. 2惟喜愛耶和華的律法，晝夜思想，這人便 為有福‧ 3他要像一棵樹栽在溪水旁，按時 候結果子，葉子也不枯乾‧凡他所作的，盡 都順利‧

3. 改變你的想法 箴 Prov 23: 7 a For as he thinks within himself, so he is. (NASB) 因為他心怎樣思量，他為人就 是怎樣‧

B. Be doers of word 实行神的話 (雅 James 1: 22 -25) But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it— he will be blessed in what he does. 1. Rely on the Spirit 依靠並順服聖灵 約 John 15: 4 -5 4 Take care to live in me, and let me live in you. For a branch can’t produce fruit when severed from the vine. Nor can you be fruitful apart from me. 5“Yes, I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in me and I in him shall produce a large crop of fruit. For apart from me you can’t do a thing. 2. Transformed by the Spirit 被聖灵更新變化 (蜕變) Rom 12: 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. (NASB) 不要效法這個世界‧只要心意更新而變化，叫你們 察驗何為神的善良，純全可喜悅的旨意‧

D. Benefit from all circumstances 從各种景况都得益處 罗 Rom 8: 28 -29 雅 James 1: 2 -4

雅 James 1: 2 -4 2 Dear brothers, is your life full of difficulties and temptations? Then be happy, 3 for when the way is rough, your patience has a chance to grow. 4 So let it grow, and don’t try to squirm out of your problems. For when your patience is finally in full bloom, then you will be ready for anything, strong in character, full and complete. 2我的弟兄們，你們落在百般試煉中，都要 以為大喜樂‧ 3因為知道你們的信心經過試驗 就生忍耐‧ 4但忍耐也當成功，使你們成全完 備，毫無缺欠‧
