WORK ETHICS WEEKLY GRADE CTAE-FS-9 Ethics and Responsibilities: Learners commit to work ethics, behavior, and responsibilities in the workplace.
1. AREA v. Remain in your assigned seat and teacher designated work area at all times!!!
2. ELECTRONICS v. No phones seen or heard in the classroom!!! v. I-pods used only when working alone v. I-pods/cords out of sight the first or last 10 minutes of class, videos, tests and instruction!!! v. No charging phones in classroom
3. DISRUPTIONS v. Any disturbance which hinders instruction: be it excess talking, loud talking, discourteous interruptions, talking during instruction, or not listening to instruction!!!
4. EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES v. Misuse of equipment includes: not being responsible with it, defacing it, using it improperly, or not returning it promptly!!! v. Misuse of supplies includes taking more than is necessary or not cleaning up supplies properly!!!
5. RESPECT v. Respect is reflected in words, actions, tone of voice and attitude!!! v. Respect includes willingness to cooperate and not being argumentative or insubordinate!!! v. Respect also includes treating others the way you would want to be treated!!!
6. FOCUSED v. Knowing what the assignment is and how to do it… ASK – don’t just sit there! v. Finished with assignment? Check with teacher for enrichment work!!
7. DRESS v. Wear school appropriate clothing!!! v. If in doubt, have an alternate!!! v. Dress business casual-like!!! v. Wear appropriate work uniform!!!
8. HALL PASS v. Keep up with your hall pass!!! v. File your hall pass correctly!! v. Use only allotted number of passes!!!
9. DEADLINES v Complete and turn in work when due!!! v Use good time management skills!!! v Choose partners carefully or work alone!!! v Have work in class, organized and ready for review!!! v Work left in locker or at home does not count!!!
10. TARDY v. Come to class on time v. Be in your seat when the bell rings v. If late, have an excused pass
PEANUT FREE ZONE!!! v Food brought into the classroom for projects or snacks must not contain peanuts or peanut products v Check the label!!! v No exceptions!!! Information subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances
