OVERVIEW � Words Their Way is a developmental spelling, phonics, and vocabulary program. �

OVERVIEW � Words Their Way is a developmental spelling, phonics, and vocabulary program. � The is the sort (sound, words, and pictures representing words). � 36 sorts per level (38 sorts – Level A) � Six levels – K (Kind), A (1 st), B (2 nd), C (3 rd), D (4 th), E (5 th) � 1 sort/pattern 1 week of instruction � Tailored to students’ developmental stages The “sort”
