Woodstock Facts § Woodsstock was documented in the film of Woodstock and won an academy award. § Michael Lang, John Roberts, Joel Rosenman, and Artie Kornfeld, poor planning forced them to let people in free. They were left with a debt of $1. 3 million and a site that cost $100, 000 to fix. § Robert and Rosenman had the financial aid for the concert. § Woodstock is known as one of the greatest moments in music history and was listed on Rolling Stone's 50. § Approximately 30, 000 -100, 000 people were expected but as many half a million attended. § Although rainstorms were present it did not sadden the participants but many just danced in the mud naked. § Max Yusgur organized and provided $50, 000 and 600 acres of his land.
