Experience from first Athos operation • Seven dedicated Athos shifts in 2018 • Some important goals already achieved - Establish set-up procedure for 2 bunch operation - Develop LLRF tools for second bunch phase/amplitude tuning - Demonstrate acceleration of 2 bunches in the same RF macro-pulse - Establish preliminary optics for Athos dogleg - Commission of emittance measurement at the Athos branch - Demonstrate kicker operation with 2 -bunch and Aramis lasing - Basic commissioning of diagnostics with 2 bunch and Athos diagnostics (BPM, BCM/CDR, ICT, loss monitors) • Problems/limitations - DRPS limits are very low for Athos operation (will get better when the new shielding is taken into account) - Need orbit feedback in Athos Page 2
