Who/What is ARIZONA@WORK Maricopa County Youth Workforce Services? Our Youth Workforce Services are a Maricopa County, Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) grant funded youth program designed to assist youth 14 to 24 years old with achieving their educational and employment goals. Eligible youth will work with a Youth Career Guidance Specialist (YCGS/Case Manager) to create a personalized plan for a successful future in education or employment.

How to Participate • Complete an HSD Registration form • Create a PLUS Account

How to Participate • Complete an HSD Registration form • Create a PLUS Account by logging onto Arizona Job Connection at www. azjobconnection. gov • Attend a Youth Services Orientation 20 -30 Minutes • Sign up and complete O*NET/TABE Assessments • YCGS will call you to schedule enrollment appointment within 3 business days of finishing the exam. • Attend one hour enrollment appointment with YCGS. Bring eligibility documents to scheduled enrollment appointment • Enrollment approved Note: Enrollment approval is not the same as Training Grant approval

Adult Program (Ages 18 and up) In addition to basic services offered at the

Adult Program (Ages 18 and up) In addition to basic services offered at the centers, the Adult program may also be able to help you with the following: • One on one case management • Training grant assistance • Support services • Follow up for 12 months after program completion

Construction Pilot (Ages 18 and up) Phase 1: Class Training, 1 week • Preparing for your career • Construction math • Health and Safety • Communication in construction Phase 2: Hands on Experience • You will begin work with a local company that will provide hands on experience. P 3 Manufacturing Training (Ages 18 and up) This program will prepare you for employment with local manufacturing companies. You will build work readiness and occupational skills, prepare for a career and earn a recognized credential.
