Grade 12 Support Overview • Broadcast based exam revision for Grade 12 learners providing – Exam paper overviews – Crucial tips for all the major topics – Detailed worked solutions and explanations of specially selected past exam questions – Live phone-in sessions • • Winter school programme (10 days) Spring school programme (10 days) Exam cram programme (during exams) All broadcasts are supported by learner and facilitator guides

What is provided • A set of resources and services directed at Grade 12 learners providing extra tuition and support. Broadcasting Grade 12 Learners’ support Online and Mobile DVDs, CDs and Print

Support Model: Saturday school model Multimedia solution • 21 x (70 – 80 minute) video lessons broadcast on Saturdays • Programme has started on 4 June 2011. • Each lesson is supported by a printable worksheet addressing: – Key concepts – Important terminology and definitions – Example questions (worked through in the video) – Additional self study examples with answers

Winter School Model • Provided to all provinces • From 4 July – 15 July 2011 • Schools, Teacher Centres and individual learners that have accesses to Multichoice DSTV and TOP TV • DVDs and printable material provided on request. • Schedule for spring schools will soon be finalised.
