Windows Server Backup Add backup feature to window server 1. Manage-add server roles-next 2. From features choose window server backup features 3. Install. After completion click close 4. From tools click window server backup 5. Local. Backup-right click-backup once 6. Different options-next-full server /custom(selected files backup) 7. Choose full server-next-remote shared folder(as we don’t have any extra drive) -next 8. open file explorer of server and create a new folder named backup in c drive 9. Right click backup and properties-sharing-share-read write –share-done-close. 10. in explorer window type \server name(\nj) -enter-click backup 11. select file explorer path (\njbackup) and copy this, paste on specify remote folder screen 12. Inherit-backup 13. when complete-close(9 GB)
Creating Scheduled backup 14. Right click on localserver and choose backup schedule-next 15. Full server-next 16. Next choose schedule of backup(specify backup time)-once a day 17. Backup to a shared folder-next 18. Fill the location of the folder where backup has to be kept(\njbackup) 19. inherit-next 20. Enter Username- Administrator, password 21. finish-close
