Community Service Guidelines WHS Website Guidance Community Service Students may complete hours in the summer prior to their freshman year. Incoming freshman should email the pre-approval essay to their assigned counselor prior to beginning their community service project. All service must meet Bright Futures Guidelines. Process: 1) Develop a plan that addresses a social problem in your community 2) Prior to completing community service, submit plan for approval with required forms to counselor 3) Submit signed documentation with reflection about service after completing
