As a Parent, How can I help? Ø Ask for progress reports and report cards Ø Make regular attendance a top goal for your child. Ø Keep in touch with your child’s teacher and attend parent-teacher conferences. Ø Make sure to attend the meeting for the Parent/Teacher/Student Compact Ø Keep teachers informed about events and issues that may affect your child’s work or behavior. Ø Continue creating routines for your child to encourage time for homework. Ø Continue your constant conversations with your child about school.
