William C. Coleman Drive • William C. Coleman served in the US Army’s 101 st Airborne Division and was a participant in the Normandy Invasion. • He was the recipient of the Purple Heart, Bronze Star POW medal, and France’s Legion of Honor medal. • He was a POW for almost a year during WWII.

Bush administration. • His passion for American veterans was expressed as an advocate in securing a new VA Hospital complex in Central Florida.

Coleman, a decorated WWII Veteran. • Frontage Road connects Chickasaw Trail to Valencia College Lane. • Roadway construction recently completed. • No residential or commercial property exists. • Changing generic name “Frontage Road” eliminates location confusion. • Dedicated name will aid Fire & Rescue Operations in emergencies.
